We are a small, passionate group of weavers looking to build resources, teach and learn, and honour the rich tradition of basketry in Alberta.

Events
Alberta’s weaving community hosts three different types of events throughout the year.
Open weaves do not have an instructor present and are free to attend. You can bring your own materials or coordinate with the host beforehand, and they can provide you with materials for a small gathering fee.
Workshops are led by experienced instructors, and materials are included in the price. Most workshops range between $90 (half day) to $425 (multi-day).
Retreats span several days and are centred on either a series of workshops or one larger project. They can include catered meals and accommodations, or access to camping.
